J Crew Must Haves

My mailbox gave me a little present yesterday, the new J Crew Catalog! I love J Crew, I've been a fan for a LONG time. No one does simple elegance as well as J Crew. The clothes are well made and not too trendy that they will be out next season. And luck for me, I've got two stores not too far away!

But it's not just the clothes that I love the catalog for its also to see the different counties where the catalog is shot (Morocco is still my favorite!). It's like taking a little vacation in my mind, but then again I'm a nerd because I love travel books too! Oh well, this catalog was shot in Venice, Italy. Not one of my favorite place that I have ever been but J Crew made it look great.   

But of course I had to wait for the girls to go to bed, fortunately for me they went to bed without much fuss last night. Here are a couple of pieces on lust list (I only ever wind up getting a fraction of items on my lust list and only when they go on sale). I only wonder what time of day they had to shoot for St. Mark's to be so empty? It was so crowded when I was there, too crowded. But anyways back to the important part.

Drum roll please, here is my Fall lust list:

 

1. Toothpick Jeans in Dolphin Grey Wash -
   I've seen grey jeans everywhere this fall in all the fashion magazines and I love the lightness of these. I can't wait to pick up a pair when they go on sale!
2. Viv Metallic Flats - These are new for fall but I've been wanting them for a while. I'm a flats girl and I love that these can be dressed up or down and can go with anything.
   
3. Glass island drop earrings
4.  Fluted skirt in double crepe - So classic and feminine, love it!
   
5.  Octagon necklace in Majestic Blue - Love the color of this neclace. It's simple and elegant and can go with just about anything.
   
6.  Kiss Kiss Tee - So cute, I see this with my red Minnie pants from a seasons ago and a menswear flat.
   
7.  Drapey raglan sweatshirt - Perfect for late fall/winter nights in Southwest Florida.
8.  Collection jeweled tweed jacket - Love this, so classic. Would love to add it to my wardrobe but can't swing the $600 price. :(
   
9.  Drapey crepe henley tunic - A pop of bright red looks awesome and I'm seeing red everywhere this fall so I just might have to pick this one up!
